Dishwasher not cleaning properly in San Jose, CA

Issue description:

The dishwasher does not wash the dishes well, the reasons.

The reasons for the poor quality of the assistant's work in the kitchen include both the human factor and ordinary malfunctions. At the same time, PMM does not always report malfunctions, that is, error codes may not be displayed on the device displays.

Household appliances do not wash kitchen utensils well because of the following problems:

dishwasher care does not meet the manufacturer's instructions

in the process of use, users make mistakes

detergents that are not intended for dishwashers are used, or their dosage is not observed

some of the parts of the appliance does not work or does not work well, for example, the scale layer becomes too large and does not allow the electric heater ( then also - heating element) heat the water to the desired temperature.

Dishwasher not cleaning properly

Problem solution:

Operational errors The most common mistake made by equipment owners is putting dishes and cutlery with dried food debris in the dishwasher. If, moreover, the kitchen utensils have been dirty for several days, then preliminary soaking will not help either. Manufacturers warn about this in their instructions.

Another mistake of housewives is the wrong choice of work program. For example, try to wash dishes with serious dirt in standard or economy mode. For such utensils, you should choose programs with a maximum water temperature, pre-soaking, as well as long-term intensive washing and double rinsing. Only then can a satisfactory result be obtained.

Overloading baskets with kitchen utensils is also common. Users do not understand that in this case, sprayers (hereinafter also referred to as sprayers) will not be able to treat the entire surface of bowls, plates, spoons and forks with detergent and rinse aid.

The closer the utensils are to each other, the harder it is to wash them. So it is necessary to strictly follow the instructions for placing dishes in the PMM working bunker. There must be gaps between plates, bowls and other appliances so that liquid can freely fall on the surface and drain from them.

A negative result when washing kitchen utensils is observed when a substandard or unsuitable detergent is used. For example, household chemicals intended for hand washing cannot be used for PMM. This threatens with excessive foaming and failure of the machine. A poor-quality detergent simply won't wash the dishes. The same applies to the rinse aid - cloudy stains will remain on glass glasses.

An overdose of preparations intended for the operation of the dishwasher is also unacceptable, as this is fraught with unforeseen consequences (see photo). If all the mistakes in using the PMM are corrected or not allowed, but it still does not wash the kitchen utensils properly, the reason may be improper care of the appliance.

Irregular maintenance of household appliances Parts such as the inlet strainer in the inlet hose and drainage the filter element located in the bottom of the working chamber must be cleaned in a timely manner. Manufacturers recommend removing dirt and grease from filters after each work session. At least clean them at least once a week. A filter element clogged with dirt cannot purify the water well for repeated washing, so the dishes remain dirty.

Coarse and fine filters are washed in warm water using a dish detergent capable of removing grease from the fine mesh cells. The input filter should also be checked periodically, but less frequently. If it gets clogged with rust and metal shavings from the water supply, the liquid begins to flow into the PMM with difficulty. The inlet filter mesh should be rinsed under a strong stream of water.

Scale, which forms in the parts inside the dishwasher body, deserves a separate discussion. It can settle on the walls of the working chamber and in the spray nozzles. Unfortunately, in our water supply systems, the water is too rich in salts, so the regenerating salt in the dishwasher cannot completely soften the liquid.

By blocking the holes in the spray nozzles, limescale does not allow water to be distributed normally throughout the chamber. At the same time, the quality of dishware washing immediately deteriorates. Hence the conclusion: the nozzles must be regularly checked, washed and cleaned with a toothpick from dirt and plaque.

Periodically, at least once a month, it is necessary to completely wash the PMM using cleaning agents specially designed for cleaning dishwashers from fat and scale. This prevents the formation of deposits in parts and assemblies, as well as on the walls of the working chamber. If you need help with high-quality dishwasher repair, call us right now!
