The tumble dryer has a safety door interlock that prevents the drum from rotating if the door is not closed. Press down on the door to make sure the latch engages. If this does not happen, try holding the door closed and pressing the door open button several times or pulling the handle to release the latch.
Some models have a plastic tab or bar on the back of the door. This rod, or rod, must press the door interlock switch before the machine can turn on. If such a stem is damaged or broken, replace it with a new one. If the door and latch appear to be in order, contact the service for inspection and possible replacement of the door interlock switch.
